Alice In Wonderland

The girls and I did a girls day out. We spent the day, after softball practice of course, painting toe nails, having lunch and to add to the fun, the movies. I haven't been a very big fan of Alice of Wonderland growing up. I really don't know why. The previews of the movie seemed really good. I really like all the actors and actresses in this film.

The girls were excited and I was too, we arrived and the line was so long opening day. I couldn't believe it. I just knew they were going to tell me when I finally arrived to the counter, "we are all sold out!" But...It wasn't, thank heavens. The girls would have been so disappointed. So got our popcorn, drinks and booster seats (which I really love) and headed to the theater to get our seats. I looked up and found three empty seats right smack in the middle of the theater, what perfect seats! No one was in front of us that could block our view and we didn't have to lean back because we were too close. I was happy.

As I was looking around I saw a lot of kiddos, but then I saw a lot of couples attending this. It was an even mixture I would say. During the movie not a single voice other than the movie itself. Allison my 5 year old got scared towards the end, but she just berried her head into my arm and said, "mommy I'm scared!" I told her it was just a movie and everything is make believe and if you start to get scared turn to mommy and close your eyes. She seemed more relaxed. In the end, we all couldn't of been happier. It wasn't as dark as I thought it could of been with Tim Burton. I would defiantly recommend to any child over the age of 5, even then be cautious ! Boys would really get a kick out of this.
