Well 2010 is off to a great start. My brother in law and his beloved have finally had the chance to enjoy their beautiful little girl Abigail Grace Bertrand. She’s a bit early but I am glad to see she’s finally here. She arrived in our lives on January 1, 2010 at 7am. Just 5 ½ lbs she has already stolen our hearts. She is 6 weeks early and will probably stay in NICU for a good 3 to 6 weeks; even so we have been anticipating her arrival some time. There is just something special about having babies in the mix of family. Their sweet smells of lavender, cute little pink onesis and little poke a dot bows. What could be better than the little grunts of a new born? I cannot wait to the day they bring little miss’s home. Spoiled will she be. I am such a proud auntie! I just know the girls will be her little protector. My husband and I already have baby fever. Then after thinking about it over and over again, I thought, “what am I thinking?” Sleepless nights, bottles, diapers, tantrums, and midnight feedings, we better not. Yep, we will just spoil her rotten then give her right back. LOL

Your grandmother is so right. I loved children all my life, and I was blessed to have a 12 year old younger brother to play, take care and have fun with. I loved and love him dearly but I can't compare that to the love I have for my own children.
I'm there with you on baby fever, I get that a lot. Then I have to look at my two toddlers and bring myself to real life :D
Congrats on becoming an auntie :)
Congrats :)
