1st Day of School

It is bitter sweet in this family. I am excited that the girls are in school but it is a reminder that little ones do not stay so little. My babies started kindergarten. Where did the time go? People would tell me, "remember and Cherish these moments because before you know it they are all grown up!" Well, now I know this is so true. It was like yesterday that they were babies crawling around looking for there their Binky's. I took some pics that I would love to share. The girls woke up so happy ready for school. When we dropped of Bella in her class she was fine. She said, "Bye mom" with no problem. As we eased down the hall getting closer and closer to Allison's room she just clenched on to me. It did not help that this other little girl was crying hysterically for her mommy to go home. I just looked down at her and smiled. When we approached her desk, she backed off and said, " I think I'm not going to like this at all and I wont make any friends!" I bent down and said, "you will be just fine. You need to be positive about school. You will love it and make plenty of friends." Ms. McDonald, Allison's teacher, came over and helped her through it. As we were leaving we wanted a picture of her and her teacher. This is how I left her. After that my husband and I walked out. I just balled all the way home.

They look so cute! (((HUGS))) I didn't get to take #1 to his first day of Kindergarten so I didn't cry, but I bawled when #2 went...and he wasn't nervous at all. I don't even wanna think about my daughter going!

Awww! Look at the face on the last picture. My 5 year old was actually happy to start school for the first time today and I still had to be dragged out of the classroom, lol.
